"Clear Streams" (2025)

Based on a photograph I took on the Durango--Silverton Railway during a train ride in 2021, this painting captures the light hitting the river and trees as the stream moves towards the horizon. Seeing this landscape move by so swiftly on the train felt like a clarifying moment, crisp and bright. Clear streams, moving forward.

Acrylic on 12x12 canvas, sealed with varnish for protection.
